I am an expat in Portugal. I was searching for a speaking club to learn the language in an efficient and fun way. I didn't find anything similar to my expectations, so I dared to start this club to bring together locals and expats. This is how LingAmor was born.

I love the idea of multicultural cities and I am happy to help expats feel at home in Portugal. These conversation clubs are a joyful way to connect people from different places, build community, and share experiences. Teaching Portuguese is real fun!

Explaining Portuguese to foreigners is a very beautiful way of sharing my culture. I love telling jokes and seeing people smiling. I am truly inspired by our group, they are awesome!

Our club is very different from school. And I love it like that: helping expats to adapt in Braga, talking about anything that comes up in the conversation, sharing our opinions, and giving recommendations about places.

Learning a new language is the first step to connect people from different places. I believe a small talk can go a long way. I am excited to share some of the Portuguese culture with new friends!
